Delete my account
Deleting your account erases your ratings, your watchlist, your watch history, your saved location and the account itself — from the Recs servers and from this device. It cannot be undone.
Do not sell or share my personal information
Recs does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We never have. There is no advertising network and no third-party tracking kit inside this app, so there is no switch to turn off here — there is nothing to turn off.
If that ever changes we will tell you first, and the control will appear on this screen.
Location
Recs asks for your location for one reason: to show which cinemas near you are screening a film, and at what time. Nothing else in the app uses it.
Your coordinates are rounded to roughly 100 metres before they are used, they are kept on this device, and they are sent to the Recs server only for the length of a showtimes lookup — never stored there, never attached to your account.

Recs works out what you’ll actually enjoy by watching what you watch — not by showing you whatever a studio paid to put in front of you. The more you swipe, the sharper it gets.
Three things worth doing first
